„Courage to help“
Training as a company first aider
Know what to do in an emergency.
Doing nothing is the biggest mistake!
Whether an emergency or fire paralyses the company, one keeps a cool head and remains capable of acting depends on each individual - the human factor. After all, it is ultimately people who get emergency situations under control or contribute to further escalation through their targeted actions.
Training and exercises help to be better prepared for emergencies and to react and act courageously in case of emergency.
"Courage to help"
Training as a company first aider, 3 - 4.11.2021
After an emergency at work, but also at home, after a traffic or sports accident, every minute often counts. At any time, you can be affected by an emergency yourself or accidentally witness an emergency situation that requires rapid assistance before professional rescue workers arrive. Only a few steps can make the difference between life and death, between quick healing, recovery or permanent damage.
"How do I behave in an emergency? How do I make an emergency call? How do I actually give first aid?" - To answer these and other questions, 14 Troger Holz employees took part in a 16-hour basic first aid course. With a lot of interest and enthusiasm, the prospective company first aiders took part in the practical exercises on emergency checks, cardiac massage and artificial respiration, wound care with bandages, case studies and first aid measures in various acute emergencies.
Many people may lack the courage to help. A first aid course takes away the fear and gives security. Because one thing is clear: "The only thing you can do wrong is to do nothing". - At this point, a big thank you to the Red Cross Schwaz District: Many thanks to Melanie Sporer for the organisation and coordination and, of course, to Markus Unterladstätter as the instructor for the "encouragement", the practical explanations and exercises, during which - despite the seriousness of the matter - humour and fun were not neglected.
