In order to meet the high demands on our products, we first and foremost need high-quality round timber.

The conditions are good since slow grown mountain timber is right on our doorstep. We only purchase certified raw material, verifying that no more round timber is taken from the forest than is growing again. By doing so, sustainability is guaranteed in the cooperation with our suppliers. In addition, environmentally friendly logistics are very important to us.

Short transport distances are covered with trucks, while hinterlands are reached by train.

The measurement and assessment of the delivered raw material takes place at our location in Stans. In shift operation, we can ensure rapid handling of the delivered round timber.

Calibrated 3-D surveying technology underlines our claim to an honest and clearly regulated cooperation. Here in Stans, we have sufficient storage capacity to be able to supply our sawmill with sufficient and continuous raw material.
