FIREWOOD AND FIBRE WOOD

Not all the delivered round timber can be processed into structural timber in our sawmill.

However, this kind of round timber which cannot be sawn is by no means waste. Neither in the wood industry nor in the biomass heating and power stations it is possible to imagine things without firewood and pulpwood.

In order to process our products, we have a very efficient profiling technology. However, for logs with a centre diameter of more than 45cm, other processing methods are more suitable.

This is why old groth wood (that is wood the diameter of which is too big to be cut) is continuously available at Troger.
